Blistersss……
Kiang jiu hor.. mai ge kiang (smart is enough, dun act smart)
Seeing a friend who wanted to pick up golf, I decided to lend him my golf glove and used my bare hands.. STUPID!!!!
After a couple of shots, my golf club started spinning in my hands.. ouch… and blisters all over my hand.
Time to get a glove. Aaaahhh which to get which to get??
Things to consider when getting gloves
1) Material of glove (cloth, leather, synthetic leather)
a common material appears is ‘lycra’ a flexible rubber feel material.
Based on the shop attendant, synthetic leathers are better for practice, real leather has the best feel but is damaged easily (better for competitions). Cloth is just comfortable.
2) Breathability of glove. Some has more holes in them then others.
3) Brand – nike, footjoy, callaway and many more
4) left hand only or both hands
5) Pattern of a glove.
This is important especially the exterior of it. I had a friend who bought a glove which had some nice external patterns and got abrasion on his right when he did a interlocking grip and rubbed against the glove.
Regardless of whatever golf glove you choose, do bear in mind that a golf glove should allow the user to grip the golf club firmly, comfortable and hehe for me, look great on me (e.g. pink may not be the best color for me)
