Exploration weekend
NO CAR!!!!
That is one of the biggest problem of playing golf. A bit for the more Atas people. I like golf but no car… Hmmm.. ever wonder which golf range is good?
That was what I wanted to find out. After learning my basic lesson at Marina Bay Driving Range, I decided to explore a few other golf ranges. Due to the limitation of no car and time, I only managed to visit 3 golf ranges. Below are some of the aspects of rankings i felt was important to me.
**Just Tee It has some good review on them. However I am a person who likes to compare (value for $$$) so yeah.. look below
Ball Ranking
1) Marina Bay Driving Range (nice ‘ping’ sound and good feel)
2) Nature Park Golf Driving Range (looks like the marina ones but seems older)
3) Keppel Club Driving Range (looks like training ball, still flys but dull and dun have my favorite ‘ping’ sound)
Range Feel
1) Marina Bay Driving Range (building looks clean, new, nice view of the course, sun set, view of Singapore Flyer)
2) Keppel Club Driving Range (enclosed area. smaller golf range to marina)
3) Nature Park Golf Driving Range (it just looks not well maintained. The golf dispenser looks like it has lots of experience in dispensing balls)
Accessibility (NO CAR!!!!!)
1) Nature Park Golf Driving Range (close to bus stop)
2) Keppel Club Driving Range (about 10min walk)
3) Marina Bay Driving Range (very very tired)

Hey, Ah Boy! I totally agree with you “no car”!! It’s really a hindrance. I usually rely on my friends who’re heading in then hitch a ride from them. Sigh …
Since you’ve been around quite a bit, apart from the 3 ranges you’ve explored, any updates about other ranges? Or do you know of places where there’re shuttle services?
